About the event
¡Celebramos México!
September 16 celebrates the moment when Father Miguel Hidalgo called for Mexico's independence from Spain in September 1810.
Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring a multi-course menu includng wine pairings led by sommelier Alyssa Papiernik.
The evening’s highlight is chiles en nogada, Mexico’s most patriotic dish. According to legend, this iconic entrée was created over 200 years ago by the Augustinian nuns of the Santa Monica Convent in Puebla to commemorate the signing of the Treaties of Córdoba. Its seasonal ingredients, green poblano chiles, white walnut sauce, and red pomegranate seeds symbolize the colors of the Mexican flag and are traditionally served only from August through mid-September.
This special dinner is a tribute to heritage, flavor, and celebration. We look forward to sharing it with you.
NOTE: not all dietary restrictions may be accommodated. We appreciate your understanding.
