In a thrilling celebration of culinary artistry and community, Tal Palo is proud to announce an exclusive one-night-only tasting event featuring guest chef Jesus "Chuy" Cervantes , chef de cuisine of the Michelin-recognized DAMIAN in Los Angeles. The event will take place on Sunday, October 19th, and marks a special occasion: the birthday celebration of Chef Aaron Porter.
Chef Cervantes, a longtime collaborator of Mexico’s most celebrated chef Enrique Olvera, brings a dynamic and deeply personal approach to modern Mexican cuisine. His work at DAMIAN and Ditroit Taqueria reflects a commitment to sustainability, seasonal ingredients, and the vibrant cultural narratives that food can tell.
Guests will enjoy a multi-course collaborative tasting menu, crafted with market-fresh ingredients and curated Mexican staples. The menu is designed to reflect the celebratory spirit of Mexican gatherings, reimagined through California’s seasonal lens.
