Valentine's Day, in Mexico, is known as El Día del Amor y Amistad, the Day of Love and Friendship. This holiday is not only significant for those in romantic relationships, but also a way for friends and family to show love and appreciation for each other.
Join us on FEB 13th for a fun, unofficial holiday for women to honor their female friendships. It's a day for "ladies celebrating ladies," focusing on platonic love and supporting one another, though anyone can celebrate their close friends.
"Migas" are a traditional Mexican dish made of fried tortilla strips cooked with scrambled eggs, not to be confused with Chilaquiles.
