The film I'm No Longer Here ( follows Ulises, a teenager and member of the "Kolombia" subculture in Monterrey, Mexico, who gets swept up in gang violence and is forced to flee to New York City. The movie powerfully explores themes of cultural displacement, youth identity, and the struggle to hold onto your roots when you lose your community.
